Kelowna Mission Craftsman
A design inspired by our client who was fascinated by Architect Sarah Susanka's "Not so Big House: A Blueprint the for Way We Really Live". What was interesting was that Sarah's book was built on the foundations of "A Pattern Language" by Christopher Alexander, which is a book that we have been heavily influenced by in our design Studio. The client wanted to create a home that was not only beautiful but also functional and efficient. The design of the home was focused on creating a sense of warmth and comfort, while also maximizing natural light and views of the surrounding landscape. The home features a large open-concept living area, with a fireplace as the focal point, and a kitchen that is both functional and stylish. The bedrooms are located on the upper level, with the master suite featuring a large walk-in closet and a spa-like bathroom. The home also features a large deck that overlooks Okanagan lake, providing the perfect space for outdoor entertaining and relaxation.
